Circle up! It’s time to start the day.
Room in the Inn CITI Campers gather each morning to see what the day has in store for them. Playtime, yoga, reading groups, art, dance, and field trips galore are making the summer go by quickly at RITI.
Shout-Out Time is a camper favorite. Each afternoon, campers and counselors come together and take time to encourage one another with praise and rewards for acts of kindness. Here’s what else a few campers want you to know:
CITI Camp started as a summer day camp in the neighborhood of RITI’s founding congregation, Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church. As the church expanded its outreach through Room in the Inn shelter, they named their summer program CITI Camp (Children in the Inn). As Room in the Inn grew into a nonprofit, CITI Camp became a part of our story. When we moved into our home at 409 Ayers, CITI Camp joined us under our new roof.
With our continued growth, CITI Camp now has its own space – a whole wing dedicated to children, education, and play.
Your Gifts Make it Possible
Because of you, we continue dreaming and growing alongside RITI guests.
Together, we work toward a future where homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
