Volunteer at RITI’s New Home!
On April 19, we joined the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, the City of Memphis, and Shelby County in cutting the ribbon on 409 Ayers Street. The Historic Collins Chapel Hospital is now the new home of Room in the Inn – Memphis.
One week later, we began welcoming our first guests into the Recuperative Care Center and Family Inn.
It was a wonderful week filled with blessings of hope, joy, and good food. Our volunteers, faithful as always, showed up to welcome guests, assist staff, and serve meals. We even had a special choral concert from David Johnson Chorus on Saturday!
With this new chapter, we have plenty of new volunteer opportunities:
